This role is an exceptional opportunity to build and deliver the company's strategy within Europe, lead the business functions of Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and Logistics for the automotive industry in mainland Europe
What do you need to be successful in?
Proven success in setting up a supply chain/warehouse function within a manufacturing operation in mainland Europe
1st class leadership capability, instrumental in engagement with the team, creating accountability and to lead by example
Effective strategy management of OEM customer relationships with a structured approach to business development functions, commercial astuteness and execution of the vision of the business
Full ownership of P&L, with a strong understanding of strategic resource planning and budgeting/costing.
What experience will you need?
You'll need five-plus years of strategic Sales and Leadership into OEMs / Supply Chain/Logistics, and Commercial/Business Development achievement in Automotive/Aerospace and a track record of negotiating commercial contracts at board level.
Ideally, your experience needs to be within Technical Sales within Automotive / Aerospace / Manufacturing component industries where you have been instrumental in securing commercial agreements with new customers.
Full accountability and direct management over a team with personal board-level sales success.
Having a second language, preferably German or French would be advantageous, a personable team player with an understanding of European leadership culture.
