Laser Operator/Setter  Location: Leicester LE2

Hours: Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1645, Friday 0800 –1530

Are you an experienced Laser operator setter looking for your next opportunity? We’re working with a well-established and growing engineering firm in Leicester who are looking to add to their friendly team. This role offers great rates of pay, steady day shifts, and the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing  Set up and operate laser machinery according to specifications provided. (LVD)

•             Create high-quality laser cut designs and products in a safe and efficient manner.

•             Inspect and maintain laser machines to ensure they are in good working condition.

•             Adjust machine settings to improve quality and efficiency of the production process.

•             Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise with laser machinery.

•             Clean and maintain work areas, including laser machinery and equipment.

•             Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role

•             Strong technical and mechanical skills

•             Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.

•             Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

•             Strong communication and problem-solving skills

•             Physical ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods and lift heavy materials and equipment.

•             Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others.

•             Work well as a team member.

•             Good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall team.

  What We're Looking For a laser operator /setter who has :

•               Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role
