They are currently looking for a Document Controller to work alongside the project and commercial teams to be responsible for maintaining all internal documentation accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance of distribution records, folder structures both electronically and any hard copy files (if required). 
- Liaising with project teams to ensure accurate and up to date organisation of records.
- Understand the client’s key requirements whilst maintaining a high level of consistency, compliance, auditability and traceability factors throughout the lifecycle of any document, including the compliance to all internal and external procedures.

The Right Person

Must possess an excellent understanding of Document Control Processes preferably within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of quality control and its purpose
- Experience entering accurate data onto an in-house CRM or other file logging system
- Experience of working with drawings, specifications and client instructions.

- Experience liaising with both internal and external bodies
- Able to commute to the LE65 area

Key Responsibilities

- You will be involved with writing specifications, reviewing tenders, producing designs, providing site-based activities including, testing and commissioning
- You will also support and lead the management of technical interfaces, particularly with their clients
- To assist in controlling the time, cost and quality of individual projects
- Review proposed specifications, designs and delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering associated with Projects
- Responsible for the acceptance and "sign off" of project documents

The Right Person

- Previous experience working as a Project Engineer within an Engineering or Automation Manufacturing Company
- Previous experience within Building Management Systems or a General Automation Environment
- Knowledge of Control Systems, in particular Scada or BMS
- Ability to work under pressure and perform to meet deadlines
- A good knowledge of Systems Design including general arrangements, schematic diagrams and loop diagrams 
- Able to engineer & deliver a project in accordance with client specifications, drawings & documentation
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent experience) within an electrical or mechanical discipline
- Experience in working with drawings, specifications, and client instructions.

This position could be ideal for somebody who is currently in a field-based role and looking for a better work/life balance.
 
The Role: 
- Reporting to the Certification Manager the Certification Assessor will carry out remote evaluations of  scheme applicants and members
- The role encompasses the provision of remote evaluations for all schemes within the Certification department remit
- The remote assessments will focus on F-gas company compliance and supplier evaluations
- In the future, training will be provided in Ventilation Hygiene allowing you to undertake post clean verification report evaluations 
- Assessment of Business Management Reviews
- Assessment of F-gas company remote audits on a monthly basis, to include initial assessment, identification and communication of non-conformities and client liaison 
- Timely, accurate recording and reporting of all evaluation activities 
- Work with the Certification Manager to improve evaluation activities 
- Act as an ambassador for the Certification Schemes and the Association
 
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: 
- Experience in the Building Engineering Services industry particularly in refrigeration and air conditioning and/or Vent Hygiene sector 
- Good standard of education with a technical qualification in mechanical services or allied field 
- F-Gas Regulation knowledge
- Previous experience as a Certification Assessor or happy to be retrained as a Certification Auditor
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with customers using phone and video calls
- Computer literate – MS Office, Word, Outlook and Excel

The Role

The Successful Principal Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for applying Electrical and Electronics engineering expertise to lead design and development work packages for research and product development covering applications in UAVs, MHE, portable and stationary power, automotive and aviation.

The Right Person

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree Level in a relevant discipline OR a relevant non-degree level qualification with suitable industrial experience as well as the following experience:-

  • A minimum of 5 years experience

  • Experience and competence designing high reliability, high robustness PCBAs to National, European and International Standards

  • Depth of demonstrable experience and competence with designing multilayer power, analogue and digital PCBs with consideration of thermal management and EMC

  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacture techniques and the associated design requirements both for prototyping and for volume production

  • PCB layout/schematic capture with an industry standard CAD package, ideally Altium Designer including consideration of thermal management, impedance control and EMC

  • Qualifications are key to this role. You MUST have a high level of qualification / professional accreditation. This could be:
    • Chartered mechanical engineer.
    • A degree, ideally a masters or a doctorate in mechanical engineering.
  • An understanding of CE Marking, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC/ PUWER Assessments
  • Machinery Risk Assessments
  • Excellent communicator as you will be client facing for most of your role.
