We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment/Executive Search consultant to join one of our highest performing divisions.


The opportunity 


The main objective for the role will be to develop a strong client base in the industry by building cohesive, long term relationships and partnering with clients to execute their talent strategy. This is a revenue generative, business development role to grow and develop a portfolio of clients within a defined industry sector. The successful candidate will show a commitment to high-quality and comprehensive recruitment processes, where extensive research and due diligence form the basis of all searches. The role will require you to engage in professional dialogues with C-suite and Director level professionals. 


What you will need:

  • Be career-driven and motivated to achieve success
  • Have strong business and commercial acumen and the ability to develop business relationships
  • Be highly personable and engaging and credible among senior level professional
  • Have a background in an activity-driven environment with experience in meeting and exceeding targets
  • Be a natural communicator with a clear and confident telephone manner


To be successful in the role:

  • You could be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with experience at a Senior level looking to make the move into Executive Search
  • You could be an established Executive Recruiter within a vertical market sector. What’s more important is that you have  excellent interpersonal skills with the necessary gravitas to communicate effectively with senior-level executives
  • You will have great Business development skills which will be second to none and hopefully it is one of your best skills  and you are interested in a move into Executive Search.

This is a key position with full responsibility for all production within the company, delivering all products, projects and services to customers on time and to budget. You will be supported by an expert team of engineers offering a complete turnkey service from machine design to manufacture.

Key responsibilities

  • Successfully operating as a member of the leadership team, take responsibility for the ongoing development and deployment of the production strategy that will meet the goals of the business
  • Providing leadership to staff in Production, Installation,Commissioning,and Manufacturing teams and ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains key talent
  • Overseeing the day to day management of the production process, technical and supply chain functions ensuring the business excels in product quality and customer service
  • To coordinate and manage all production projects - delivering on time, within budget and meeting customer expectations.
  • Ensuring the continued promotion of a positive culture to achieve good practice in terms of HSE And HR performance
  • Promoting an environment where teamwork, open communication, continuous improvement and excellent customer service are maintained
What experience would you need to be considered?
  • Hands-on Production management experience of an SME  manufacturing business 
  • Around 5-10 years of proven project management experience with a broad engineering background ideally gained in special purpose machinery,turnkey engineering solutions or bespoke engineering machinery.
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer with MRP systems experience, ideally with an Engineering  Degree,or demonstrable track record of success operating in a manufacturing, engineering/assembly environment gained in an industry related sector.

The business is entering an exciting phase in their development with a mandate to grow and identify a Technical Manager who will be pivotal in making significant changes to the Engineering function.This is a key position reporting to the Managing Director and supported by an expert team of Engineers offering a complete service from machine design to manufacture, test and installation.
