Customer Service Representative

Salary £25,000-£30,000

Location: Coventry 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to provide cutting and automation technical support via phone to external customers. 

If you are looking for a role where you can use your technical know-how when it comes to mechatronic equipment, power systems, and automated systems for the unloading of materials and part-picking - then this position provides you with the scope to showcase what you can achieve. 

Person Specification 

- Technical background in mechanics and electrics/electronics sufficient to assess requirements and manage simple cases

- Ability to differentiate between CNC / PLC, as well as to read/recognize and use viewer software.

- Basic understanding of:

-Trouble shooting

-IT/Software: DMS, CRM, LMS & Microsoft Windows

-Safety

-Mechanical Engineering

 - Personal and Interpersonal Skills:

-Accommodating to clients: Able to balance clients and own organisation’s needs to make sure that the client is satisfied.

What will the role involve? 

●  Acting as a first touchpoint (SPOC) for customers contacting the Hotline for cutting and/or automation.

●  Dispatching and coordinating Field Service Technicians with the hotline manager (especially where a remote fix or remote diagnosis is not applicable and the hotline can not assist directly)



●  Completion of simple cases ‘end to end’ including identification of part numbers and creating the order



●  Logging cases

● Calling customers to manage cases and possible escalations or informing them of progress.

● Following up on part delivery times to ensure engineers can be scheduled effectively and forwarding order requests to the spare parts administrator.

3 years of experience in technical field and service environment.

Paying up to £12 per hour dependant on experience

About the role:

As a Brake press Operator, you will have primary responsibility for all set-ups and production runs, ensuring safety, accuracy and timelines of all jobs, machines and equipment in the folding area.

Duties of the press brake operator /setter will include:

  • Set-up, adjust and prepare press brake (Current machines) Amada, Edwards Pearson.
  • Set-up includes but is not limited to;
  • Finding correct tooling/program per set-up.
  • Check the heights of tooling and adjust back stops etc. along with light guards.
  • Set-up and adjustment of material for folding at correct height.
  • Locating programs and adjust tonnage and tooling for each part being formed.
  • Provide feedback to Production Manager all jobs not meeting set-up and/or production standards.
  • Producing folded parts to drawings supplied, measuring with Vernier Caliper, Protractors etc.
  • Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
The Successful Press brake operator setter will :

  • This person will work well on their own and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills
  • The appropriate person must have a keen eye for detail, and ability to read drawings
  • Good mathematical ability and able to use measuring devices such as Vernier callipers and protractors.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced-team environment.

Paint line Powder Coater/production operative required 

Based in Leicester LE19

Full time/Permanent

Basic Salary £9.45 per hour

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Initially 7.30am to 4pm (While training)

Shift Hours will be 12.30pm – to 9pm Mon - Friday

About the role:

This role is part of the paint line team however will be slightly excluded from the rest of the team, they are responsible for ensuring all PPC coverage is to the highest standard using automated and manual paint guns. There is some aspect of manufacturing in this role so must be willing to work on production machines as well

Powder Coater/ Paintline operative duties will include:

· Use a hand gun to cover any unpainted / touch ups needed products.

· Recording powder usage.

· Prepping powder drums ready to be used.

· Cleaning down of used powder drums.

· Cleaning down of spray booth and all pipes and hoppers.

The Successful powder coater must be:

· This person must be hardworking punctual individual.

· They must be able to work as part of a team and just as well on their own.

· It is important that they have experience within the powder coating industry.

· This candidate must be a quick-thinking individual with exceptional reading skills.
