The Role
The Successful Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting the improvement of current manufacturing activities and the introduction of new products and processes by providing the technical and engineering expertise to deliver business growth. Primary business involves steel and aluminium fabrication including laser cutting, pressing, bending, welding, polishing, painting and assembly. To be responsible for the management of projects within a multi-disciplined team delivering to strict time, cost and quality constraints. Projects will include New Product Introduction, capacity and technology led expansion, process improvement and changes to existing products and processes

The ideal candidate will be time served, have qualifications in an engineering discipline or have significant relevant experience in a similar role as well as the following experience:-
Demonstrate ability to introduce new equipment, tooling and processes
Ability to use lean manufacturing techniques to improve manufacturing processes
Good leadership and team working skills - the ability to work with internal cross functional teams and external clients and customers.
Knowledge of the construction, rail or defence industries would be an advantage to support business growth in these areas
Experience delivering Projects from Conception to Completion within a Manufacturing Environment

The Successful Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for applying Electrical and Electronics engineering expertise to lead design and development work packages for research and product development covering applications in UAVs, MHE, portable and stationary power, automotive and aviation.
