My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Tewkesbury and commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Evesham, Worcester and Ledbury.
They specialise in producing precision components to tight tolerances and timeframes. Due to continued growth, they are looking for skilled CNC Milling and Mill-Turn Programmers to join their team.
The Role: CNC Milling Programmer - Set, operate and program CNC Fanuc or Mazak Milling or Mill-Turn Machines - Online program editing and programming from scratch - Proving out programs for NPIs - Offline programming on Hypermill (if experienced) - Working with live tooling - Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs - Working on Fanuc or Mazatrol-based controls - Working from drawings - Quality control of components
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Programmer - Experience in Setting, Operating and Programming CNC Mills or Mill-Turns - Programming experience on Fanuc or Mazatrol controls - Offline programming experience on Hypermill (not essential) - Experience in proving out new programs, preferably for NPIs - Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances - Experience in the Aerospace or similar precision industries - Able to quality check own parts from engineering drawings - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved - Motivated and an excellent team player
The Package: CNC Programmer - Starting salary of up to £42k per annum, dependent on experience - Day shifts, Mon to Thurs, 07:30-16:00, Friday - 07:30-13:00 - Excellent Pension - 33 Days Holidays - Life assurance - Long service awards
