Internal Sales Executive - Groundworks & Civils Leeds (Office-Based) Work full-time from the Leeds office (Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm) £35,000 - £40,000 + Commission (after 6 months) + Progression

We are looking for a hungry, proactive Internal Sales Executive to join our Client and take ownership of developing sales for a specialist soil treatment product used across the construction and groundworks sectors. This role is perfect for someone who loves sales, builds strong relationships over the phone, and wants to grow with a business that recognises and rewards performance.
The Role As the Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales activity, managing existing contacts, and building new relationships across the groundworks and civils markets.
You will need
Make proactive outbound calls daily to contractors, groundworkers, merchants, and stabilisation companies
Manage and update the CRM with accuracy (full system training provided)
Cleanse, contact, and convert an existing database of contacts
Generate enquiries, follow up leads, and maintain regular contact with customers
Build strong relationships with merchants and support their sales activity
Handle sales negotiation, account management, and commercial conversations
Help drive sales of a high-demand soil treatment product, especially during peak seasonal periods
This is a standalone role initially, but for the right person, there is real progression potential — whether that's developing into a leadership role or specialising as the product champion.
Must have:
Sales experience in groundworks, earthworks, civils, or civil merchants
Confidence on the phone and a proactive sales mindset
A strong work ethic and the motivation to build a pipeline from outbound calls
Ability to manage a CRM, follow processes, and keep accurate records
Must live within a commutable distance to Leeds (this is NOT a hybrid role)
