Are you a skilled service engineer with the ability to fault-find on electrical components within machinery? If yes, read on….

My client is an established firm in the wood machinery sector, based in the East Midlands and commutable from Leicestershire and surrounding areas with close links to the M1, M69 and A50. They are currently looking for a skilled individual to install, repair, service and maintain wood machinery on various sites 


The Role:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair on wood machinery/dust extractors
  • Fault-finding on electrical components (3 phase motors/relays)

  • Pre-planned machinery maintenance

  • Installation of machinery

  • Liaising with support team

  • Reporting of repair and maintenance activities

  • Communication with customers while on site

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

  • Ability to fault-find on electrical components on machinery

  • Previous experience within Field/service engineering

  • Ability to travel to Switzerland for machinery training

  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualifications or relevant industry experience (Essential)

The basics:
  • All UK based jobs

  • 2-3 optional overnight stays per month

  • Occasional Saturdays on call (5 per year - £50 payment and OT x1.5 for any hours worked) 

  • Monday to Friday 

  • Van, phone, tools, PPE, tablet, credit card

  • 33 days holiday total (increases with service)

Are you an experienced Facilities Engineer or Maintenance Assistant?
 

My client maintains a number of prestigious, high-end Offices and buildings in Central London. They are currently searching for a new Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their onsite team to continue providing the best possible service to their customers.

Commutable from areas including Mayfair, Camden Town, Kensington, Westminster, Victoria, and St James Park.

 

The Role

  • Providing building and facilities maintenance for a number of high-end office buildings local to Mayfair and Westminster.

  • Preventative maintenance task and ongoing servicing of site services and facilities

  • To ensure that all buildings are maintained to a high standard including maintaining electrical appliances, plumbing and mechanical systems/ utilities.

  • Ensuring that site health and safety rules are followed

  • Day-to-day planning to ensure that site service SLA’s are adhered to

  • Ensure that resources are used efficiently

  • Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescale

  • Hand tools will be provided by the company



Experience Required

  • Must have Building or Facilities Maintenance experience 

  • Electrically qualified (desirable)

  • Able to confidently use hand tools

  • General understanding of building health and safety 

  • Experience in general building maintenance or site repairs including; heating, basic electrical, plumbing works, painting and decorating.

  • Must be able to get to Mayfair or Westminster within 45minutes commute

  • Happy to work as part of the on-call rota occasionally

  • Ability to work under own initiative 

  • Good communication skills

  • Highly motivated



Package Details

  • Salary £35,000-£38,000 per annum

  • Shifts Mon-Fri 8-5

  • Overtime for call outs

  • 25 Days Holiday plus Statutory Bank Holidays

  • Company Pension
