Precision is working with a leading automation company, dedicated to revolutionising industrial processes through cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks to join the dynamic team.
The Role - Design Engineer:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative automation solutions using SolidWorks.
- Create precise and detailed 3D models, ensuring seamless integration with our automation systems.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and recommendations for optimisation.
- Conduct analysis and simulations to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate accurate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
- Support manufacturing and assembly processes, working closely with production teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation design methodologies.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Design Engineer:
- Extensive experience working as a Design Engineer, preferably in the automation industry.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Automation and machine design experience
- Motivated and excellent team player
- Able to commute to the LE4 area

- Day Shifts, Mon to Thurs 7.30 to 16.30, Fri 7.30 to 12.30
