Large corporations in the bigger cities are planning to welcome all their staff back fully in September. This could lead to a surge in lift servicing needs and also repairs, as lifts left dormant or hardly used will be thrust back into full time use again.
Lifts in places such as churches, hospitality venues, will also have lifts laid dormant for a year and will need to be serviced and inspected. Hospital lifts may have had very little use where wards have been closed.
