Are you a skilled Workshop Engineer with experience repairing Electrical Motors, Pumps and Gearboxes - if so, please read on. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who thrives in a hands-on, workshop-based environment.

 

The Role: Workshop Engineer

  • Repair and refurbish electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Strip down and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work to high safety and quality standards, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: Workshop Engineer

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within a workshop environment.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, or gearboxes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to work.

 

The Package: Workshop Engineer

  • Base Salary up to £18 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Overtime with additional on-call work opportunities
  • 28 days holiday
  • Pension scheme
