Stores & Supply Chain Manager Rochdale OL11 5QY Engineering Industry Salary £45,000+ Monday - Friday, Permanent Role
We are recruiting for a Stores Manager to take full ownership of a busy and business-critical store operation. This role has been created as the business continues to grow and now requires a true manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stores team, controlling stock, overseeing purchasing and supplier negotiations, and ensuring materials are delivered efficiently to support engineers and customers. This role is commutable from Heywood, Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Littleborough and similar areas.Other suitable job titles include: Supply Chain Manager, Stores Manager or similar.
Proven experience in a Stores Manager, Warehouse Manager, or senior supervisory role
Strong background in purchasing and supplier negotiation
Experience managing and maintaining stock control / ERP systems
Confident people manager of a small team
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility in a small business environment
Open to candidates stepping up from a supervisory role with the right experience and attitude

Salary £45,000+ depending on experience
