My client is a leading manufacturer seeking a skilled Draughtsman to provide 2D and 3D draughting services using SolidWorks and support engineering and manufacturing teams with high-quality technical drawings.

The Role – Draughtsman
● Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks (CAD modelling / 3D     modelling / technical draughting)
● Create fabrication drawings, assemblies and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
● Manage and update BOMs within the Jobscope ERP system
● Ensure drawings meet quality, accuracy and compliance standards
● Maintain drawing databases and revision control
● Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and sales teams (cross-functional engineering support)
● Support production with hands-on problem solving
● Follow company procedures and Health & Safety regulations


Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

● Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (CAD software, 3D CAD, design tools)
● Experience within a steel fabrication or mechanical engineering environment
● National Diploma or equivelant 
● Strong communication and organisational abilities
● Creative, proactive and a strong team player
