Mig / Tig Welder /Fabricator

Permanent role based in Derby commutable from Coalville, Ashby de la Zouch, Nottingham, Ilkeston, and surrounding areas.

Our client is looking for an experienced MIG/TIG welder/fabricator to join their expanding team.

The Successful candidate will be very experienced in Mig and Tig welding and fabrication. 

• Will have experience working with Aluminum and Steel 
• Interviewing immediately
• Start time 07.30. Finish time 16.30 . Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at a premium

JOB PURPOSE

• To Mig and Tig Weld and Fabricate Aluminum and Steel for the rail industry 
• The Position will be mainly Tig welding but the ability to Mig weld is essential 
• Positional welding of downhand, vertical and overhead welding is a pivitol part of the role. 

THE MIG / TIG Welder  fabricator

• The ideal candidate will need to have worked to previous coadings 
• Highly skilled in Positional welding - downhand, Vertical and overhead is a must
• Ability to read engineering drawings 
• Have the ability to work away on site for between 2-4 days every fortnight which may include overnight stays 
• If you are not able to work onsite we have a 6-week contract available 
• Experience in Aluminum and steel welding and fabrication is essential 
• Experienced within the rail or automotive industry will be an advantage 
• The candidate should have their own basic tool kit 
• Successful candidates will need to have a UK driving licence
