Are you an experienced Hydro Turbine Supervisor looking for your next long-term contract opportunity? This is an excellent opportunity to join a major hydro refurbishment project based at Ardnacrusha, Ireland, just 15 minutes north of Limerick.

We are looking for an experienced Turbine Supervisor to oversee the reassembly of a Francis turbine and support wider refurbishment activities on site. Francis turbine experience would be highly desirable; however, candidates with strong hydro turbine overhaul, refurbishment or assembly backgrounds on comparable projects will also be considered.

The Role of Turbine Supervisor:

• Supervise the reassembly and refurbishment of hydro turbine equipment on site
• Coordinate daily mechanical activities and maintain project progress
• Manage labour, subcontractors and site interfaces effectively
• Monitor quality standards, alignment procedures and assembly tolerances
• Identify technical or mechanical issues early to minimise delays
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Communicate effectively with site management and engineering teams
• Maintain site standards, productivity and safe systems of work

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

• Previous experience supervising hydro turbine assembly, overhaul, refurbishment or major repair projects
• Strong mechanical understanding of hydro turbine components and assembly processes
• Experience working on Francis turbines would be highly advantageous
• Ability to supervise site teams and coordinate multiple work fronts
• Strong problem-solving ability and understanding of turbine alignment and fitting procedures
• Comfortable working within strict health & safety environments
• Ability to commit to a circa 6-month project in Ireland from the end of June

• FAS Safe Pass
• CSCS Card (desirable)

Some additional safety training may be provided where required.

Accommodation allowance or reimbursement is likely available. Please note that accommodation around Limerick may be limited; therefore, candidates may need to source their own accommodation locally.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to provide a strong project history covering previous hydro turbine work, including turbine type, scope of works, project location, duration and role performed on site. Strong references will also be required.
