As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive after-sales service, from one point of contact, for all CNC Machine tool needs, whether that be annual servicing, service contracts, sourcing of spare parts, applications support, or breakdown repair. You will be working on a variety of CNC mills and lathes, including the likes of Haas, Mazak and Hardinge across Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire.
The Role of Field Service Engineer:
Develop & maintain working relationships with current customers
Servicing and repairing CNC Machines
Working to deadlines and schedules to ensure customers needs and demands are met.
Ensuring your work is professional and is carried out safely, meeting all health and safety guidelines.
Identifying faults with motors, ballscrews, spindles, lubrication, automatic tool changers and carrying out associated realignments.
Knowledge of servicing and repairing CNC machine tools.
The ability to perform CNC fault diagnosis using PLC.
Knowledge and understanding of servo systems.
The ability to work under high-pressure situations but still deliver at a high standard.
To be highly motivated, proactive, innovative, and have the capability of problem-solving.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
HNC-level mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications (desirable)
Previous experience working on CNC machinery or similar
Willing to travel and stay away from home
Ability to work & communicate professionally at customers' premises
Full clean UK driving licence
The Package:
Salary up to £45k DOE
Door-to-door payment
Flexible shift start time
45hr week Monday-Friday
Vehicle provided or car allowance
Rare nights away from home
