The Role: Production Manager

We are working with a well-established and expanding manufacturing company that is looking to recruit a driven Production Manager to lead production operations at their Southend-on-Sea facility.

You will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while also driving continuous improvement across the site.

The Role

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Oversee day-to-day production operations and workflow
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and KPIs are achieved
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Work closely with other departments to support business objectives
• Support health & safety and best practice across the production environment

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Production Supervisor
• Proven background within a fabrication or metal manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with production planning and ERP/MRP systems
• Organised, hands-on, and commercially aware
• Commutable to Southend-on-Sea, Essex
