Purchasing Coordinator
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Location / Patch: Nuneaton
 
About the Role
 
We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing / Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a fast-paced and growing organisation operating within a specialist engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and agile business where communication, efficiency, and teamwork are key to success.
This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting procurement and supply chain operations. You will play a key part in ensuring materials and components are sourced, tracked, and delivered on time to meet tight customer deadlines.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Send enquiries to suppliers for required goods and materials
• Gather and collate accurate information to support procurement activities
• Raise and issue purchase orders via the ERP system (Tricorn)
• Liaise with internal teams and manufacturing sites to track delivery updates
• Communicate with suppliers to monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Update internal progress boards for daily meetings
• Support contract review processes and create progress tracking sheets
• Provide general support across the team, including holiday cover where required

About You
 
Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience within a purchasing, supply chain, or coordination role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident communicator, both verbally and via email
• Proactive approach to chasing information and resolving delays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
