My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.

They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Turning Mazak Programmer to join their team.

The Role: CNC Mazak Turner

- Set, operate and program CNC Mazak Turning Machines

- Online program editing and programming from scratch

- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs

- Working on Mazatrol-based controls 

- Working from drawings

- Quality control of components

- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc

- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate

- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Turner Programmer

- Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC Mazak Lathes

- CNC Turner on Mazatrol controls

- CNC Programming experience essential

- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances

- Experience in the Aerospace or Motorsport industry is desirable

- Experience working from engineering drawings

- Able to quality check own parts

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved

- Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: CNC Mazak Programmer

- Salary up to £45k, dependent on experience

- Day shifts, Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm

- Pension

- Holidays
