A growing fire & life safety specialist is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join its field team across Manchester and Liverpool. This is a hands-on role focused on planned maintenance and reactive fault-finding, keeping life-critical fire alarm systems compliant, reliable, and ready when they matter most. They are currently looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to Service, maintain and carry out small works. The ideal candidate would be based in Manchester or local surrounding areas.

The Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer

• Maintain, service, and carry out small works on Fire Alarm and Emergency lighting systems across various customer sites. 
• Conduct inspections, testing, diagnostics, and fault finding, producing detailed technical reports. 
• Undertake servicing, reactive calls, and commissioning for a range of systems, including Fire Alarms, Disabled Alarms, Disabled Refuge Systems, and Emergency Lighting.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service and to resolve issues promptly. 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Fire Alarm Service Engineer:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. 
• Previous experience in fire alarm servicing & maintenance 
• Previous field service experience and happy to travel
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Driven and willing to develop into a multi-skilled engineer
• Previous experience in commercial settings. 
• Level 3 EAL or FIA qualification in Fire Alarms or similar (desirable)
• BS 5839-1, BS 5266, and 17th edition. 

The Package - Fire Alarm Engineer:

• Starting salary from £36,000 per annum
• Commission and Overtime available OTE
• 33 days, including statutory bank holidays
• Monday-Friday Day Shifts
• Enhanced overtime
