Job description
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter.
The Role - Welder / Fitter:
- fabricate / weld - MIG & TIG, stainless steel and mild steel welding as well as fitting & installing on site
- To fabricate medium-gauge metal components up to 10mm
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Skills / Experience Required -Welder / Fitter:
- Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in site welding and fitting
- Ability to work with all types of metal up to 10mm
- Must have good attention to detail
- Be able to finish a product to a very high standard
- Be punctual and a good timekeeper
- Be confident, organised, and methodical
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others
- Work well as a team member
- Be able to problem-solve and come up with solutions
- Own transport is essential
- Salary: £15.50 to £18.00
