Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter with hands-on experience repairing electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes? If so, we’d love to hear from you. This role suits an engineer who enjoys practical, workshop-based work and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs.

The Role: Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter

• Repair, refurbish and service electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out testing on both mechanical and electrical components.
• Strip down and reassemble equipment to restore peak performance.
• Work to strict safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

Skills & Experience: Maintenance Fitter

• Proven background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in a workshop or maintenance setting.
• Strong knowledge of electric motors, pumps or gearboxes (highly desirable).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude.
