My client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers within their industry, showing commitment to UK Manufacturing by continuous investment in their 3 UK based manufacturing facilities are looking to add to their team by bringing in a new Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with all of the standards across the site whilst assisting group wide
 

The Role - Quality Engineer:
 

• A stand alone role responsible for site quality across all production
• Define, implement and monitor quality procedures to ensure that production runs efficiently to the highest levels of quality
• Working to and Auditing to ISO 9001 & 14001
• Review all of the quality processes and update as necessary to ensure any new ways of working align with the ethos of quality first
• Investigate non-conformance and investigate returns  
• monitor and assess the quality performance of the  supply chain and raise issues
• Continually looking at ways to improve processes working with production to improve processes and quality 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Quality Engineer:

• Educated within a technical discipline to at least NVQ/C&G level
• Experience being a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to work with suppliers to solve any issues or non-compliance
• Auditing experience internally and externally (desired)
• Experience of working within Sheet Metal or Fabrication
• Organised and analytical 
• Be able to plan and deliver effective quality control processes

The Package - Quality Engineer:

• Starting salary up to £40,000 per annum
