Our established engineering client is looking for a Technical Coordinator to join their growing team in Accrington. This is a varied office-based role focused on estimating remedial and repair works, coordinating engineers, and managing projects through to completion.

The role would suit somebody with an engineering or automotive background who understands technical repair work and has experience within service coordination, maintenance planning, or engineering administration.

This role does not offer remote working.

The Role - Technical Coordinator:

Working closely with service engineers and the technical team, you will review engineer reports and photographs to prepare quotations for repair works. You will then coordinate accepted jobs through to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Review engineer job reports and identify works
• Prepare accurate quotations using labour, materials, travel, and plant hire costs
• Assess urgency, lead times, and repair requirements
• Send quotations and technical updates to customers
• Manage jobs through to completion and customer sign-off
• Liaise with internal technical and finance teams
• Update information using the company ERP system

Key Requirements - Technical Coordinator:

• Previous service coordination, technical administration or repair estimating experience
• Experience in the engineering, manufacturing or maintenance background preferred
• Good understanding of mechanical or electrical repair work
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commutable to Accrington on a daily basis 
• Comfortable using computer systems and ERP software
• Customer-focused approach
• Able to manage multiple jobs and priorities

Salary and Package - Technical Coordinator:

• Salary £32,000 per annum
• Monday-Friday shifts 8am-5pm
