Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter with hands-on experience repairing electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes? If so, we’d love to hear from you. This role suits an engineer who enjoys practical, workshop-based work and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs.
The Role: Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter
Repair, refurbish and service electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out testing on both mechanical and electrical components.
Strip down and reassemble equipment to restore peak performance.
Work to strict safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Skills & Experience: Maintenance Fitter
Proven background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in a workshop or maintenance setting.
Strong knowledge of electric motors, pumps or gearboxes (highly desirable).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude.
