Our Client is a well-established company that offers a comprehensive lift maintenance service.

They also design, manufacture and install new passenger lifts. Further to this they offer refurbishments including major modernisation and round the clock lift breakdown repairs. The role is due to growth and a big influx in year on year sales growth. They have a huge amount of leads called in so this would suit a closer who can gain the projects.

Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager with a Major Projects engineering background. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business and project managing the contracts through to completion.

The Role

You will manage the whole sales process and be able to follow up on sales to building a long term client-base.

Having the traits of a hunter and farmer are essential to be successful.

There will be office support for lead generation and office support for producing quotations.

You will cover a nationwide workload based from either the Newcastle or Leeds office whichever is closer to home.

You will not be adverse to travelling between clients account managing and pitching new business.

You will target Architects and main contractors to gain new projects and specifications whilst trying to break existing specifications of competitor products.

Your targets will be in terms of turnover, profit and number of installs. You will be of the mindset that this is your business and you will be driven to put in the effort, miles and time to make this a success

The Role

Main responsibilities: servicing, attending breakdowns, small repairs, fault finding on passenger lifts, goods lifts, and disabled access units. Representing the company to a high standard and delivering great customer service maintenance and repair.

The Candidate

Successful lift engineer can either be an improver, just qualified engineer, or NVQ 3 or equivalent engineer
