The Client:

Our client is a leading name in the manufacture of construction products, selling into commercial specification. Due to internal promotion we are recruiting for Specification Sales Manager

To initiate and maintain contact with architects, designers, main contractors and specialist subcontractors to positively influence the decisions regarding the selection of Insulation materials to ensure the continuing increase share of the commercial building sector. Maintain regional relationships with Supply chain contractors by developing specification and value engineering to save the contractors money and with extra volume for the company.

The Role

To persuade customers to buy the full range products, to maintain and developing existing relationships by effect range selling on features and benefits.

About you

Client

A Leading name in commercial interior solutions for commercial developments, Industrial and clean room solutions. Now looking to increase their market share with a sales executive to grow the business.

We are looking to recruit a sales executive, preferably with a proven sales record in commercial interiors i.e. furniture, partitions, ceilings M&E services or similar. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As a sales representative, you will also research and advise on sales competition. The role will be primarily office based, with visits as required.

Responsibilities

· "Get the sale" using various customer sales methods (Project Tracking, cold calling, presentations etc)

· Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness

· Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships

· Meet personal and team sales targets

· Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads

· Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

· Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data

· Maintain and expand client database

Requirements

· Proven sales experience

· Track record of over-achieving quota

· Experience working with ACT or similar database software

· Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and driven
