We are on the lookout for skilled Lift Engineers in and around the London area!

This role is based in Central London with a few contracts in both Essex and Kent. This is not a walking route, therefore, a company van will be provided. The Service, Callout & Repair Engineer will carry out service and repairs to a range of lifting equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional and cost-effective manner, maintaining documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures. The role will involve working to a planned schedule of repair and maintenance jobs at client's premises.

Lift Engineer - Responsibilities

  • Completing repair work - reducing the risk of breakdowns, accidents & emergency repairs

  • To provide a high-quality personalized service

  • Inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all components for optimum performance

  • All types and makes of passenger, goods and service lifts.

  • A detailed report of the work carried out at each service visit.

  • Identification of weak and faulty parts before they cause a problem

  • Priority repair work following a breakdown

  • Take part in the on-call rota

Lift Engineer - Requirements

  • Experienced Lift engineer (NVQ 3 qualified mandatory)

  • Industry Knowledge & proven experience (minimum of 3 years)

  • Service & Repairs

  • Confidence with a range of manufacturers is desirable

  • Experience working on standby as part of an on-call rota

  • Experience servicing and repairing passenger lifts

Technician Responsibilities:

  • Delivering rapid turnaround solutions to complex problems relating to customer systems, including electronic troubleshooting, delivering work within defined SLA service level on a consistent basis.

  • Managing schedules meeting customer SLAs, acting as the point of escalation for technical faults.

  • Deliver a demanding service contract, covering over 150 lifts around London

  • Achieve response rates to any failure or breakdown to minimize downtimes.

  • Servicing, Repairing, assisting with commissioning lifts

  • Diagnostic and Reporting

  • Costing Analysis of components - modernisations/refurbishment discussions

  • Offering technical guidance and advice over the phone for 15 Engineers and customers

A busy manufacturer in the Central London area is looking for a field service engineer to join their already successful maintenance team. We have just won a contract to allow us to sell our machinery/kit from Harrods. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company and be the first one on the team. So when there is growth you will be first in line to become a manager. We manufacture refrigeration systems for pubs/restaurants and prestige clientele.

This is an exciting opportunity for a field service engineer to join a well-established business.

The role has come from organic growth and they are now bringing the service team in-house. We are a French-owned company and have bought out a similar business in the UK. Our turnover in the UK is circa £2.5 million, so you will be joining a very established business.

The role is working Monday - Friday between 9am and 6pm and in return, they are offering a basic pay up to £40000.

You will have to report in every morning and then attend client sites 40% of the customers are commercial and 60% private so you need to have very good customer service skills as well as your engineering skills.
