What is the opportunity?

An industry-leading, family-owned distribution business operating within the Third-Party (3PL) / Contract Logistics sector are looking to expand their Transport team with the addition of a new Transport Planner.

Those serious about this opportunity will have recognisable experience as a Transport Planner, with strong geographical knowledge and exemplary planning ability. If you have previous Paragon knowledge or a similar planning system then this would be fantastic!

A CPC would also be fantastic, however not a prerequisite - You will have the opportunity to study for the Transport Management CPC yourself, all paid for by this empowering employer!

The Role - Electrical Controls Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join an existing team, reporting to the Engineering Manager. This will be a multi-discipline role and the primary duties will be the design of LV Control Gear, Panels with Single Phase and 3 Phase Thyristor Control, MCC Design, PLC & Scada.

The Company

An independently owned Engineering company, based in lincolnshire that manufacture a wide range of high quality products, most notably in the Power Control and Aerospace Markets.

The Right Person

The successful Electrical Controls Engineer will be self motivated, a professional team player with a proven track record in LV Control or PLC & Scada, ideally from a Power Engineering Background. You must have a good working knowledge of drawing methods and standards, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of customer specifications

  • Raising and maintenance of engineering project file

  • Document all project reviews

  • Specialised testing and commissioning

  • Engineering planning

  • Project Management

  • Issuing of documentation to customers and other departments

  • Verification of test results

  • Customer site support

You will also be responsible for the Production & Maintenance of:-

  • Parts lists

  • Engineering Drawings

  • Specifications

  • Project Manuals

  • Method Statements and Risk Assessments

  • Test procedures

  • Quality plans

  • Build standards
