Our client is a market leader in the Lift Industry that offers a comprehensive lift service Nationwide. We are looking for a skilled Sales Executive with either a Sales or Business Development Manager background. You will have experience with working in the lift industry in sales. Or you may be successful in the sales of components in the lift industry or automated doors industry.
This may be service contracts, major modernisation or minor repairs.
The ideal candidate will come from the lift industry with an engineering background. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business and project managing the contracts through to completion. Please consider this role if you have a solid sales background and hungry to pick up the phone to build your own desk.
You will be responsible for - Winning new business in the lift and escalator industry from surveying and quoting new clients.
Work collaboratively with the client from start to finish, including ordering key components this could be from a control panel to a full new lift.
To expand the client service portfolio - arranging and attending tender meetings - relationship building every step of the way.
Upon completion of audits you will need to write detailed reports of your findings. This will include your recommendations for installation and refurbishment improvements.
Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
Accountable for developing company customer base or market area
Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire sales team (e.g. cross-selling)
Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safety
Accountable for hand-over to installation, maintenance and/or engineering with complete and correct information
Having the traits of a hunter and farmer are essential to be successful.
Happy travelling between clients account managing and pitching new business.
You will target Architects and main contractors to gain new projects and specifications whilst trying to break existing specifications of competitor products.
Your targets will be in terms of turnover, profit and number of installs.
You will be of the mindset that this is your business and you will be driven to put in the effort, miles and time to make this a success
