We are looking to recruit an energetic and passionate AV Operations and Logistics Manager to be part of our exiting growth and to be an inspirational team leader of the AV & logistics team. As you are already working with some of the latest LED, Touch Screen & Digital AV technology, your experience of dry hire / exhibition / project planning, logistics and AV Installations will be integral to the success of your role.
Your ideas and attention to detail will be essential tools in helping us continue to deliver exceptional experiential AV installations & experiences.
The majority of this role will be based in our Tring warehouse facility, however the willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%) in line with the needs of the business (mainly UK and Europe) is also a prerequisite for this role.
Assist the Operations Director with all logistics planning for our exhibitions and AV projects, including vehicle hire, transport costs, personnel, technical support and respective account, event and project management.
Management of all employees and subcontractors in the workshop, in the field and on site ensuring everything is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Management of the AV equipment rental system for sock inventory control, including daily maintenance to ensure products are accounted for across all events, workshops and warehouses at any given time.
Ensure all non-rental system stock inventory is well maintained and respectively logged in/out of the workshop / offices accordingly.
Ensure all AV equipment is tested and prepped, including content testing, before shipping to events and congresses.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Management of Health and Safety systems and procedures in workshop and on site, ensuring all employees and subcontractors adhere to them as such.
Attendance at any respective exhibitions, as directed by the Operations Director, to assist with build, break, AV technical support and client liaison/relationship building.
Meeting and liaising with customers/clients in a professional manner and an ability to interpret and facilitate their requirements to the highest possible standard.
Attend industry functions, business functions and relevant events, to provide feedback on market and AV trends in our worlds of events, exhibitions, commercial and residential AV.
Assisting the Operations Director in identifying and driving new business opportunities.
Assist the Operations Director in the continual recruitment process for AV technicians & installers on both a freelance and permanent basis.
Prepare documentation for the creation of detailed Specification Sheets for new stock AV products
Assist the Operations Director in the preparation & delivery of Tech Days in both Tring & Richmond for both internal and external clients
