Role Coverage - South West England

Salary: circa £32,000 DOE, Est OTE £45,000 Company Van & Fuel Card, Phone, Holiday Entitlement, Pension

Due to continued growth, this lift company are now looking to add to their team with a Service & Repair Engineer.

You will be covering a designated geographical area completing booked maintenance and repairs and assisting service team with urgent repair works. Optional OTE available and taking part of the call out rota. Representing the company to a high standard and delivering great customer service.

The Role

Routine lift maintenance & lift servicing reducing the risk of breakdowns, accidents & emergency repairs

To provide a high quality personalised service

Inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all components for optimum performance

All types and makes of passenger, goods and service lifts.

Detailed report of the work carried out at each service visit.

Identification of weak and faulty parts before they cause a problem

Priority repair work following a breakdown

Scheduled minor repairs

The Candidate

Experienced Lift engineer (NVQ not mandatory)

Industry Knowledge & proven experience (minimum of 3 years)

Service & Repairs / Callouts background on Lifts

Versatile and flexible

Confident with a range of manufacturers

Those serious about this opportunity will have recognisable experience at Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Team Manager level within a Retail Distribution business, with proven knowledge of working with Warehouse Management Systems.

If successful, you will be leading and coaching a team so you must have managed over 10 people previously.

The Company

An established leading independent lift company stretching its services Nationwide, carrying out maintenance, repair, modernization and new lift installation on a broad range of products.

Due to continued expansion and growth, we are now seeking a Lift Engineer - Maintenance, Repairs, and Call-outs in the West and South West of the UK.

The successful applicants will be predominately working within this geographical area, however, they may be requested to work in other surrounding areas as and when required.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Lift Maintenance, call outs and minor repairs
  • Management of service route and process, transmitting of route paperwork
  • Completion of Insurance report items
  • LG1 and ST testing
  • Participation in the call rota
  • servicing
  • Attending breakdowns
  • Small repairs
  • Fault finding on passenger lifts, goods lifts, and disabled access units.
  • Representing the company to a high standard and delivering great customer service.

The Role

Experienced repair engineer for minor and major repairs, covering designated area completing booked repairs and assisting service team with urgent repair works, OTE available, and call-outs.

Representing the company to a high standard and delivering great customer service, travel payment, 20 days holiday, the opportunity for additional training and progression

The Candidate

  • Proven experience in the lift industry
  • Experienced Lift engineer (NVQ level 3 or equivalent required) or at least 10 years proven experience
  • Industry Knowledge & experience (minimum of 5 years)
  • Service / Repairs / Call-outs background on Lifts
  • Hold a current valid driving license
  • DBS check will be required
