The Right Person

The successful Head of Controls will have a good understanding of concepts involved in CNC and Machine Control as well as an understanding of how to design, specify and implement multi-axis CNC control systems and ancillaries (Fanuc skills are very desirable, Bosch skills will also score highly). You will have a good understanding of electrical systems and fault finding. You will need to ensure fitting operations are conducted in a safe manner and to quality requirements. You may need to supervise and instruct apprentices. You will also be responsible for completing paperwork and bookings.

 

The Candidate

 

As the successful Fitter you should be a time served / apprentice trained Bench Fitter. Knowledge of hydraulics would be advantageous. Experience of working on large components would be desirable as would working on site. Full UK driving licence required. FLT and overhead crane experience would be essential
