Salary up to £35k per annum

Our established family run client supplies conventional and CNC machines and machine tools into customers globally. They are looking for a skilled Machine Fitter, with experience on manual or CNC Mills, Lathes, Drills, Presses, Punches or Grinders. Commutable from Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Wolverhampton.

The Role -

• Pre-delivery inspection of new machine kits
• Building and mechanical fitting of new machines
• Servicing of Conventional Machine Tools - CNC experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Repair/installation and commissioning of machines at customer's premises
• Discuss and relay machine faults with Factory manager
• Answer customer queries on machines
• Working on conventional Lathes, Mills, Saws, Drills, Grinders and Punches

Experience Required -

• Mechanical Machine Builder or Fitter with experience of working on Conventional or CNC Machines (Mills, Lathes, Drills, Press Brake, Punch, Saws, Grinding etc)
• Flexibility and eagerness to learn
• Team player
• Happy to undertake non-engineering duties to help the team
• Good communication skills
• Highly motivated

The Package -

• Mon to Fri - 08.30-17.00
• 40 hours per week
• Starting salary of up to £35k per annum (dependent on experience)
• Overseas allowance (if required)
• Pension
• Holidays 20 days plus Bank Holiday
