Our established client specialises in manufacturing and supplying castings for heavy commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery for several industry leaders. They are currently looking for a new Quality Engineer to join their small but established team. Commutable from West Midlands - Birmingham, Derby, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire

Duties Include - Quality Engineer:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for liaising with customers on a day-to-day basis
This is a customer-facing role where you will travel around the UK to customer sites, as and when required
Dealing with customer dissatisfaction and providing solutions and determining corrective actions
Ensure the overall quality of pre-manufactured products

Key Skills / Experience Required - Quality Engineer:

Experience as a Quality Engineer within a Foundry, Castings or Machining environment
Fault finding/identifying defects
ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standard knowledge is desirable
Ability to use quality checking tools, such as verniers, callipers and micrometers
Open to travel - UK and abroad

The Package:

Starting salary of up to £45k per annum, depending on skill level and experience
Company car
Day Shifts Monday to Friday
Early finish Friday
Hybrid work - Flexible WFH and in-office
25 days Holiday Bank Holidays (33 days)
