Starting Salary £25k-£35k - dependent on experience

Mon to Fri - 08.30-17.00

 

Our established client supplies conventional and CNC machine tools into customers globally. They are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer, with Machine Tool Fitting experience, who has experience in a Planning or Service role, or who wants to move into this type of role. Commutable from Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood, Tamworth, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Wolverhampton.

 

The Role - 

  • Planning, organising and scheduling production to ensure customer order deadlines are met

  • Working with internal Sales Engineers to plan production and order dates

  • Organising the incoming workload 

  • Dealing with customers queries

  • Ensuring the workshop engineers are able to meet their production targets

  • Becoming hands-on to help meet delivery targets, when required

  • This is mostly an office-based role

 

Experience Required -

  • Machine Tool or Mechanical Fitter background, preferably with experience of servicing Conventional or CNC Machine Tools 

  • Must be highly organised

  • Administrative and IT software skills are essential

  • Communication skills are key as you will be dealing with customers

  • Team player but able to work independently

  • Happy to undertake hands-on duties to help the team

  • Highly motivated

 

 The Package:

  • Mon to Fri - 08.30-17.00

  • Starting salary of £25k to £35k per annum (dependent on experience)
