Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for your next opportunity to develop and progress within your career? As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of specialist precision machine tool equipment UK-wide.
Suitable locations may include Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley or Doncaster.
The Role of Field Service Engineer:
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs on a range of specialist components for automated CNC machinery
- Develop & maintain working relationships with current customers
- Communicate daily with line manager, providing detailed reports
- Carry out and maintain service stock
- Travel throughout the UK working as an individual or as part of team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:- Previous experience in servicing, installing or maintaining automated machinery, machine tools or manufacturing machinery
- Previous experience working on CNC machinery or specialist machine tooling equipment
- HNC or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualifications or equivalent (Electrical Installation, 17th Edition, 18th Edition)
- Experienced in fault-finding on 3-phase motors, contractors, relays, switches
- Competent with mechanical components such as bearings, seals or gears
- Willing to travel and stay away from home
- Ability to work & communicate professionally at customers premises
- Must hold a full clean UK driving licence and valid passport for European travel and training
- Must be happy to stay away from home occasionally during the month
The Package:- Salary £35,000-£45,000 per annum DOE
- 22 days holiday days plus bank holidays
- After 2 years of service holiday allowance increase to 25 days
- Working hours: 8:30 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday
- Door to door travel & Overtime available at time and a half
- Phone & Laptop
- Yearly bonus paid in accordance with company group performance
- Company vehicle provided once trained
- Company Pension 5%, 4% employee contribution
- All expenses paid weekly
- Roughly 90% on the road, with occasional working from the office prepping machines
