ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WITH A SIZEABLE PORTFOLIO OF CLIENTS AND DEFINED ROUTES TO MARKET
I am on the lookout for a proven Senior Business Development Manager for service and repairs sales in the passenger lift industry. The area you will cover is Kent & London.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (Depending on experience) & Benefits
Commutable: Brentwood, Romford, Dartford, Bromley, Croydon, Maidstone, Twickenham
If you are a Senior Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the lift industry and strong pipeline with a genuine portfolio of your client base, we want to hear from you! You will be working for a well-known approved lift engineering company. The company prides itself with the installation of passenger, goods & platform lifts worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to improve the lives of the end-user B2B sales experience is essential for this role. You will come from the lift industry with an engineering background and engineering degree or similar qualifications. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business, project managing the contracts through to completion from concept, survey, understanding electrical drawings and installation and product aftercare customer service.
Winning new business - surveying, quoting new clients including local authority, housing association and hospitals
Work collaboratively with the client from start to finish, including ordering key components
Upon completion of audits you will need to write detailed reports of your findings
Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
Accountable for developing company customer base or market area
Lead generation and conversion, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales targets
Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms & conditions, quality & safety
Hand-over to installation engineering team with complete & correct information
Promoting all products through client presentations
You will be of the mindset that this is your business & you will be driven to put in the effort, miles & time to make this a success
Direct B2B selling of bespoke range of products
Delivering CPD presentations to architects in order to drive specification
Lead generation via Barbour - main contractors, clients, architects
