Senior Acoustic Consultant

£30000 - £45000 per annum bonus, negotiable

As a Senior Acoustic Engineer you will offer excellent technical knowledge to their clients, working with clients in the UK, and at times internationally.

Located in Bedford, salary is negotiable depending upon experience.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Acoustic Engineer.

  • Managing a wide range of acoustic activities, including taking measurements on site and carrying out technical assessments.

  • Advising clients over the phone, by email and in writing summarising any advice.

  • Managing projects from early stage through to completion.

  • Managing any junior colleagues, and assisting with their development.

  • Taking the lead in generating repeat business and obtaining new business.

The successful Senior Acoustic Engineer will be working for an employer who

  • Established with over 18 years experience in the market, but still growing significantly.

  • Successfully completed over 3000 projects in the past 18 years.

  • New offices opening around the UK, including Manchester

The Candidate

As the successful Senior Acoustic Engineer you are likely to have significant experience in the following

  • 2 years experience within Acoustic, specifically within construction.

  • Degree qualified within either Acoustics or a related subject, minimum 2:1

  • Membership of IOA

  • Strong drive, with the ability to use own initiative and work independently at times

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Proactive, with an outgoing and enthusiastic manner

  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and the ability to pick up systems quickly

This role will involve travelling around the UK, with potential for international travel.
