Job Title: Sales Executive - Technical - Infrastructure

Salary: £30-40k plus bonus negotiable for the right person

Location: Sale, Stretford, Cheadle, Manchester, Altrincham, Leigh, Warrington, Stockport

The Company:

My client is a leading name in specialist software for civil engineering projects, just recently they have merged with a global player in the market to now take the UK by storm.

Responsibilities include:

Liaising with customers to understand their technical business issues and ultimately identify areas where the company may help them overcome these issues and achieve their goals.

Technical demonstration of software to customers -

Using a mixture of live software demonstration and PowerPoint, both in-person and via online screenshare.

Presenting the companies products to demonstrate the maximum value that products can offer to engineers, architects and planners.

Alignment of the companies products to customers business issues.

Creation of UK-specific marketing material, such as demonstration models, imagery and videos.

Delivering live webinars to present the companies products and value as a technology partner.

Delivering local market intelligence to Product Management.

Maintaining a strong understanding of the UK Highways and Transportation plus Architectural industries.


Strong understanding of the business and project pressures that organisations and individuals in the following sectors feel: Highways & Transportation, Architecture, Infrastructure.

Confident user of CAD applications (e.g. AutoCAD, BricsCAD).

Confident working knowledge regarding the principles of Swept Path Analysis.

Confident public speaker.

Strong grasp of UK transportation engineering terminology and subject matter.

Able to articulate engineering solutions clearly and effectively.

Willing to travel within the UK.

Able and willing to challenge mindsets.

Able to introduce new technical and business concepts that customers may find difficult to understand.
