Sales Executive - Account Manager - Internal

Salary £20-24k plus bonus

Location - commutable from Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Uppingham, Stamford

An opportunity has arisen at a leading supplier of landscaping material as an Internal Sales Executive. You will be responsible for generating new business and growing and developing existing trade clients (Landscapers, playground installers, contractors etc) in the Northern Territory of the UK.

You will be their go-to person to support, encourage and develop their businesses, which in turn will grow our business.

You will also proactively seek and identify new clients by utilising existing data and using your initiative and sales skills.

We are seeking a competent individual with a can-do attitude that can work well under pressure and is no stranger to hard work, who can demonstrate a proven history of customer interaction.

You will be a key member of our front line team and will advise clients about our exclusive trade products.

You will also:

  • prepare quotes
  • take orders and payments
  • plan deliveries
  • manage and filter enquiries using CRM software
  • deliver excellent customer service
  • submit sales reports
  • report on your progress and activity with a concise report to management during regular meetings
  • assist in the communication and managing of promotions
  • use social media and networking sites to generate new business
  • encourage clients to engage with our social media channels
  • contribute to online content (webpage, blogs, social media etc)
  • resolve problems
  • support managers
  • educate and train clients on best practice installation methods
  • collect customer reviews

The role is full time.

Working hours of 8.45am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. ½ hr lunch.
