Starting Salary £24k-£26k - dependent on experience

Permanent Position, Day Shifts, Mon to Fri


Our established Electrical Manufacturing client is currently looking for a QMS Controller to join them at their Redditch site. They would welcome somebody from a manufacturing background, preferably within electronics, electrical switchgear or automotive. Commutable from Bromsgrove, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Kidderminster and Solihull.


The Role - 

  • Day-to-day management of the quality management system to ISO 9001:2015

  • Use of the ERP software package to assist with maintaining the company’s QMS and issuing reports on non-conformances; corrective actions; customer feedback; etc

  • Prepare for and chair annual Management Review Meetings

  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels using our customer feedback form

  • Working with the team to help resolve quality-related issues

  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met


Experience Required -

  • Quality Controller or Quality Technician with experience of managing and maintaining a QMS to ISO 9001:2015 standards

  • Working within a manufacturing environment to maintain a QMS and issuing reports on non-conformances

  • Exposure to quality standards with Electronics, Electrical Manufacturing or Automotive would be preferred

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Able to use own initiative

  • Hard-working, motivated and an excellent team player


 The Package:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

  • Starting salary of around £25k per annum (dependent on experience)
