Personal Assistant - PA - Secretary

Location ; Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Coalville, Melton Mowbray

Salary £22-28k Office hours Monday to Friday 25 days holiday

The Company:

My client is a leading, established, manufacturer of building products with various routes to market and a great name and brand.

THE ROLE

To provide an effective, confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Managing Director

Diary management, including travel/accommodation and meeting venues

Preparation of Management reports/slide presentations and meeting papers, including minute taking when required

Customer correspondence and liaison

To effectively communicate and liaise with employees, at all levels

To maintain effective document control and filing systems

HR administration for the business, including:

HR database management

Vehicle fleet administration

Payroll administration

Starter / Leaver documentation

Candidate assessment (competency based testing and analysis of online psychometric profilers)

Car hire management via Enterprise

General administrative support as required

THE REQUIREMENTS

Previous relevant secretarial/administrative experience at a senior level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to plan, organise and multi-task

Ability to work on own initiative and use own judgement

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office ie, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Understanding of databases / CRM systems

Good standard of literacy and numeracy

Confidentiality / discretion

Flexible / adaptable

Excellent attention to detail

Experience of working in a manufacturing and/or HR administrative environment desirable

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
