Our established client are a market leader within the food manufacturing sector. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a utilities maintenance engineer to join their already successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site utility engineer to work for a company that develops and cross-trains staff at every given opportunity. They are a proactive and supportive team working in a state-of-the-art facility in the Northamptonshire area.
Commutable from Northampton, Daventry, Peterborough, Bedworth, Corby, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester and Coventry.
Duties/Training Includes:
- Reactive and preventative maintenance of site utility services, such as air compressors, refrigeration, industrial boilers and water treatment
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Working as part of a thriving team
- Panama shift pattern
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- A time served or apprentice trained multi-skilled utilities engineer
- Food manufacturing industry experience
- Engineering qualifications (electrical or mechanical)
- BOAFF trained or happy to learn
- Positive attitude at all times
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a high standard of personal performance
- Flexible and reliable
The Package:
- Starting salary of £46,659 (increases to £50,895 after probation completed)
- Overtime available at x1.3 and x1.5
- Excellent Pension Scheme between 4% and 8%
