E-Commerce Manager 
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £35,000-£50,000 per year, dependent on experience
Package: Full-time, permanent role

One of the UK's leading sports and leisure industry stockists is looking for a dedicated E-commerce Manager to join a supportive and proactive team. The role is perfect for those with commercial experience and a strong passion for sports! The company prides itself on a positive team feel and dedication to offering the best service to customers; as the E-commerce Manager, you will be resourceful and tech-savvy to promote the business.
 
The role:
● Be responsible for a small team, implement new working styles and strategies, train new starters and deliver team KPIs
● Manage the company website to best practice, employing successful SEO, UX (User Experiences) and CX (Content Experiences) strategies
● Liaise with marketers from brand partners to plan marketing strategies
● Report on the website KSPs such as Traffic, Customer Journeys, Dwell Time/Bounce Rates, Conversions and Marketing activity campaign tracking
● Be commercially minded ensuring market research and decisions are to advantage and boost business opportunities
● Data processing and analysis
● Manage the digital marketing activity alongside a marketing executive to budget and report on sales conversions and cost of sale 
 
The person:
It's important to note that the E-commerce Manager will be a sporting enthusiast and be commercially minded to understand the industry and keep up with the latest news and trends for marketing and business purposes.
 
● At least 5 years experience in E-commerce using Shopify plus
● Experience using digital marketing platforms, including social media, to promote sales in a commercial environment is desireable
● Experience in web design and web analysis
● Confident in data processing, coding and reporting
● Proven ability and knowledge of consumer behaviour through web use, website optimisation and conversion management
● Have strong attention to detail
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
● Be a team player!
● Have the ability to think on your feet, optimising marketing opportunities
