The Role: Maintenance Technician

The successful Maintenance Technician will be involved with executing planned maintenance activities, providing site based activities including testing and commissioning, and supporting with continuous project work. The position provides great opportunities for skills development, training and career growth. Key Responsibilities

• Execution of planned maintenance activities
• To work as part of a tight knit team of maintenance technicians to build, test and commission engineering solutions to customer specifications using existing system integration
• To be able to work both autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team 
• Provide support to project teams to carry out design, engineering and commissioning activities on site
• To communicate effectively with customers, clients and internal engineering teams 

• Knowledge of Rail projects (Control Systems) and systems integration
• Knowledge of Rail Telecommunications
• Knowledge of PLC Technologies
• Knowledge of UK Rail Scada applications

Our well-established Paving Materials Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their hard working Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep of all production machinery to ensure production runs smoothly.

The Role 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer commutable from Loughborough, Leicester, Coalville, Ashby, Sileby, paying from £43,145 per annum with extra overtime available. 

Scheduled on a 3 shift system, the successful candidate will have continued plans for electrical progression.

The Role

The Successful Principal Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for applying Electrical and Electronics engineering expertise to lead design and development work packages for research and product development covering applications in UAVs, MHE, portable and stationary power, automotive and aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

• To act as a Work Package Owner (WPO) within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering team and implement engineering expertise in the electrical and electronic design aspects of fuel cell control systems delivered on time to the project scheduled milestones to a high quality standard
  
  
• Ensure adherence to all safety, customer, functional requirements and relevant National, European and International standards on electrical and electronic circuit and system design
  
  
• Plan the timing and scheduling of new programs with the Electrical and Electronic Manager, Head of Product Development and Project / Programme Manager
  
  
• Work with the Research team, core system and product development teams to deliver acceptable designs and solutions within time critical environments
  
  

• A minimum of 5 years experience
  
  
• Experience and competence designing high reliability, high robustness PCBAs to National, European and International Standards
  
  
• Depth of demonstrable experience and competence with designing multilayer power, analogue and digital PCBs with consideration of thermal management and EMC
  
  
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacture techniques and the associated design requirements both for prototyping and for volume production
  
  
• PCB layout/schematic capture with an industry standard CAD package, ideally Altium Designer including consideration of thermal management, impedance control and EMC
