Basic Salary of £40k per annum - Overtime Available

The Role

Our growing Leicestershire-based client design, manufacture, install, commission and maintain electrical control systems for various industry sectors. They are currently looking for a JIB qualified Industrial Electrician to join their team in a field-based role, covering the Midlands area. If this applies to you please read on.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Travelling to various sites, mainly Midlands based

- Installation, maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment and control systems

- PLC and Drive work

- Heavy containment, Ladder rack, Galvanised pipe and box

- Various industries covered, including quarry and recycling 

- Occasional overnight stays (average of 1 per month)

 

Key Skills / Experience Required:

- Industrial Electrician

- Installation experience - panels, pumps, motors etc

- Must be JIB qualified and have City & Guilds 18th Edition 

- Must have either 2391 Test & Inspection or 2394/5

- Experience of heavy industry sites would be preferred, such as quarry or recycling

- IT literate / able to work from an electronic job sheet / calendar etc

- Good communication skills and must be customer facing

- Well organised and able to manage own workload

- Driving Licence (clean preferred)

- Quarry Passport desirable

- Required to be available for overtime every other weekend

 

 The Package:

- Starting hourly pay rate of £18.00 PAYE, enhanced overtime rates available

- 43 basic working week, equates to basic salary of £40,248

- Company van & fuel card

- Travel time paid after 30 minutes

- Overnight stays fully paid

- Standard hours Mon to Fri 07.00-16.00/17.00

- Must be available to work overtime every other weekend
