My client is a global industry leader within their field with annual sales of around $5 billion, based in the East Midlands and commutable from Leicestershire, Loughborough, Melton and Nottingham with close links to the M1, A46, A607 and A50. They are currently looking for a skilled Sales Administrator to work closely with multiple stakeholders to actively influence, decide and lead continuous improvement in the organisation.

 

The Role:

  • Managing and actively supporting the order processing team with daily management of order entry, quote generation, intercompany purchase ordering, invoice generation, logistics, import and export and credit control.

  • Managing the team workload to provide value to internal and external customers.

  • Management reporting of sales and orders, visual management and KPI’s.

  • Ensuring full compliance adherence

  • Analysing current business processes and identifying areas of continuous improvement.

  • Actively participate in or lead projects/initiatives to achieve continuous sales process improvement.

  • Manage the Sales Order Processing team to include recruitment, development, training, performance management and succession planning

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in a similar Sales Order Processing Team Leader  role

  • Proven experience of analysing business processes and identifying areas of continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of imports/exports processes within freight forwarding

  • Experience of supporting a sales team within an admin function - order entry, quote generation, purchase ordering, invoice generation, credit control

  • Knowledge of management techniques including KPIs, recruitment, development, and motivation of teams

  • Customer first mindset

  • Commercial and financial awareness

  • Ability to problem solve creatively

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (V lookups/pivot tables), Word

The role:

Due to expansion within the customer service department the company is now seeking an Engineering Service Advisor to join the team. This role will be a full time, permanent position working closely alongside the technical team to support customer enquiries. As an Engineering Service Advisor you will be assisting customers via phone and email with queries and faults. Occasionally this role will also require off site servicing of equipment.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Mechanical/ Technical engineering experience, both practical and office based within a commercial engineering role.

  • Have some experience within a support/ servicing role in the engineering sector.

The Role
To service and maintain a wide range of Sliding, Swing and Automated Gate Systems
Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical servicing and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • Completion of breakdown repairs & planned remedial works

  • Working as part of a small team

The Candidate

Electronic Design Engineer (Senior)

£40000 - £46000 per annum

The Role: Senior Electronic Design Engineer 

Salary up to £46k DOE

The Role

The Successful Principal Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for applying Electrical and Electronics engineering expertise to lead design and development work packages for research and product development covering applications in UAVs, MHE, portable and stationary power, automotive and aviation. 

The Company

An Engineering company built on 30 years of product development in their sector, supplying a range of markets including, Automotive, Power and UAVs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as a Work Package Owner (WPO) within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering team and implement engineering expertise in the electrical and electronic design aspects of fuel cell control systems delivered on time to the project scheduled milestones to a high quality standard

  • Ensure adherence to all safety, customer, functional requirements and relevant National, European and International standards on electrical and electronic circuit and system design

  • Plan the timing and scheduling of new programs with the Electrical and Electronic Manager, Head of Product Development and Project / Programme Manager

  • Work with the Research team, core system and product development teams to deliver acceptable designs and solutions within time critical environments

The Right Person

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree Level in a relevant discipline OR a relevant non-degree level qualification with suitable industrial experience as well as the following experience:-

  • A minimum of 5 years experience

  • Experience and competence designing high reliability, high robustness PCBAs to National, European and International Standards

  • Depth of demonstrable experience and competence with designing multilayer power, analogue and digital PCBs with consideration of thermal management and EMC

  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacture techniques and the associated design requirements both for prototyping and for volume production

  • PCB layout/schematic capture with an industry standard CAD package, ideally Altium Designer including consideration of thermal management, impedance control and EMC
