A progressive opportunity within an established training provider, has arisen as part of a growth strategy for a Lead Generator based in the Midlands.
This Full Time / Permanent position offers the opportunity to work Monday-Friday with a basic salary of £18K plus commission.

The Candidate
Those serious about this opportunity will have recognisable experience in researching the market place and sourcing leads as well as a proven track record in opening conversations to secure appointments.

The Role
You will be responsible for appointment generation to fill up the diaries of multiple sales consultants.
- Market research to generate leads
- Opening conversations with prospective customers
- Booking appointments for sales consultants
- Admin as required

The Company
The successful candidate will be working as part of a small office team within an established organisation.
Specialists in Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques, you will be working for a company who sells business to business for training programmes.

Role: Responsibility for company business into a well defined number of UK companies of either OEMs or End-users.

Basic responsibilities will be as follows: -

To help promote and develop, sales of the range of unit handling products.

To help achieve the company's sales budgets and growth targets.

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking

Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.

Evaluate customers needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.

Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary.

Visit site when required to assess customer needs.

Draft offers, and quotations as required.

Maintain and expand customer database within assigned territory.

Forecast sales, develop strategies and evaluate effectiveness.

Report and provide feedback to Management.

You will be required to work in conjunction with the rest of the Sales team securing all possible enquiries. Liaising with production when necessary.

Attend sales events, seminars, exhibitions and product training to keep abreast of latest developments.

Candidate:

5 years of external sales experience selling technical products (preferable into unit handling industry)

Excellent communication and relationship building skills would be critical

Relevant technical/commercial education with short courses in sales skills a benefit

Flexibility, drive and self motivation as well as being prepared for travelling

Good presentation skills and use of computer basic software required

Hands-on ability and even experience from site would be beneficial

Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager,

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Researching and development of new opportunities whilst maximizing current client portfolio in Aircraft Interiors and beyond.

Developing new long-term relationships with existing customers through managing and interpreting customer requirements.

Working with customers to ensure expectations are met in terms of technical, quality, price and delivery.

Providing customer quotations and administering account management duties for key accounts.

Monthly sales report with weekly visit reports.

Meeting regular sales targets, budgets and co-ordinating projects with use of CRM tools

Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other networking events.

Liaising with other members of the sales and engineering team ensuring projects and deadlines are met to the customer's expectations.

Key Attributes:

Engineering degree or equivalent (qualified engineer).

3 years' experience in Sales Engineering in an aerospace

Self-motivated and focused with a passion for the aerospace sector and an aptitude for customer satisfaction.

Sound technical and practical engineering comprehension.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly self-motivated with the ability to work under their own initiatives.

Job role

Report on progress against plan on a monthly basis, raise potential issues with suggestions of solutions on a case by case basis. Ensure these are managed promptly and with tact and diplomacy both internally and externally.

Be an integral part of the UK business team, contributing day-to-day to the overall direction, processes and continuous improvement culture to build the long term health of the business.

Travelling in UK on account visits, team meetings and supplier training and meetings
